This article considers the current condition of the fixed assets in construction and shows the role of capital repair in their reproduction. At the same time it’s revealed that because of the inconsistencies of the technical level of repair facilities, their disunity and over causes, the capital repair of construction technics remains still expensive and does not correspond modern conditions. As a result, up to 30% of the total overhaul of machines and mechanisms is performed by construction organizations. The article analyzes the positive experience of the advanced repair facilities and the main possible directions of improving the system of organization of capital repairs of construction equipment and increase its efficiency.

This article proves the relationship of levels of economic development of countries and the living conditions of the population. It is proved that the establishment of the objects of housing construction that meet the quality requirements, it will create conditions for the reproduction of human capital, and also the technical and intellectual effort within the framework of the modernization of the Russian economy. In this regard, it's argued the timely establishment of a new classification of the objects of housing construction on the quality, enabling all market participants adhere to a common approach.

The author examines the statistics on energy efficiency in housing and utility services in Russia and abroad, the energy saving potential of buildings. The article shows the main problems hampering the development of the construction companies and regional building complexes. Based on the analysis of the group structure of construction enterprises 10 most economically developed regions of Russia it was defined the basic object of control in the construction areas of the unit of Federation.
